Invisible

Feeling unappreciated by others can be deeply disheartening. It often arises when the effort, time, or emotional support you give to people goes unnoticed or is taken for granted. Whether it’s in relationships, at work, or within your community, that sense of being invisible despite doing your best can lead to frustration, sadness, and even resentment. You start to question your value and wonder why others don’t acknowledge what you bring to the table.

Over time, this feeling can affect your self-esteem and emotional well-being. When people continuously overlook your contributions, it may make you feel like you’re not enough, even when you’re doing more than your share. You might begin to withdraw, limit your efforts, or avoid people altogether to protect yourself from the pain of being dismissed or undervalued. This emotional withdrawal can also affect how you relate to others, making it harder to trust or open up again.

However, it’s important to recognize that your worth isn’t determined by how others treat you. Learning to set boundaries, communicate your needs, and surround yourself with people who genuinely respect and appreciate you can make a big difference. Sometimes, it takes stepping back and evaluating the relationships in your life to understand where change is needed. You deserve to be seen, heard, and valued not just for what you do, but for who you are.
