Dear Potential Participant,
My name is Dr. Paul Samuel Young, and I am conducting a qualitative research study titled, “Understanding Parental Disciplinary Practices and Their Impact on Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Outcomes in Young Children.”
I am inviting parents or guardians of children between the ages of 3–7 years old to participate in this study. The purpose of this research is to explore parental disciplinary practices and understand how these experiences may influence children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development. Participation in this study will involve completing an informed consent form, a brief demographic questionnaire, and participating in a confidential semi-structured questionnaire on SurveyMonkey.
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. All information shared during the study will remain confidential, and participants may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty. No identifying information will be included in the final research findings.
Your participation may contribute to a greater understanding of parenting practices and child development while helping educators, counselors, and community leaders better support families and children.
